WELCOME

“ Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying whom shall I send?

And who will go for us?” and I said,  “Here am I.  Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8)

The Worthing Christian Network of mission and charity leaders in coordinating this Festival, is seeking both to celebrate what is already being done and to encourage Christians in Worthing to reflect on their response to  Jesus’s command to go into all the world, be good news to the poor and needy and share the Gospel.

This first Worthing Mission Community Festival is therefore being planned to be an exciting and inspirational townwide event, which we hope many Christian agencies and local churches will want to take part in as well as attending.

The Festival will take place mainly in the newly refurbished St.Pauls Centre in Chapel Road.  A wide variety of activities are being planned including youth workshops, a flag and band parade, prayer breakfast, an exhibition of the work of Worthing based Christian organizations, demonstations, live music, inspirational films and short presentations, an African market, a 'poverty lunch' and a multimedia evening celebration, for all churches and Christian agencies

Will you join us in making this an unforgetable and very worthwhile Festival that increases commitment to mission and community service and touches many lives over the three days.

Please pray for guidance, for adequate resources, for wide participation and that the Festival will bring Honour and Glory to God.
